If you don't like giant spiders, then you should probably stop reading now and go hide in a corner. You know, just to be safe.

Still here? Good. That's because Playdead has just slashed the price of black-and-white platforming gem Limbo on iOS.

In this game, Playdead tells the story of a little boy who enters limbo to try and find out what's happened to his sister.

Cue giant spiders, mournful hotels, and creepy children running around giggling.

There are plenty of puzzles to solve here, and an awful lot of mantraps to avoid. Unless you like getting sliced in half.

At review, we gave Limbo a Gold Award, calling it a "dark and macabre puzzle-platformer". We then added that it's "always experimenting with new ways to make you think, and new ways to shock you to your core".

If that sounds like your creepy cup of tea, you should head on over to the App Store and grab Limbo for just £1.99 / $2.99.
