PES 2011 finally hits Android Market

It’s taken a few weeks longer than we expected it to, but Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 is finally available on the Android Market.

The series’ Android debut features a rather more considered brand of football, played at the pace of your average Serie A match. In keeping with this continental flavour, the game also boasts fully licensed UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League competition modes.

Intuitive controls and impressive 3D graphics round out the package, although anyone looking forward to a spot of multiplayer will have to wait in hope of an update.

We took PES 2011 for a spin on our trusty Galaxy S a couple of weeks ago, and found it to be an accomplished kick-around. If you’re hankering for a footy fix on your Android, you could do a lot worse than splash out the £4.26/$6.84 Konami is asking for the game.

Be advised that it’s a hefty package, with the bulk of its 50MB(ish) coming after your initial purchase and download. Needless to say, a wi-fi connection is a must.
