Broken Sword coming to DS
And Wii, if you're lucky enough to have both
A few months ago, Revolution Software posted an online petition to gauge interest in a DS version of Broken Sword. Inevitably, rumours of the game's imminent release were quick to hit the blogosphere, but they were only rumours. If nobody responded to the survey, it was reasonable to suppose that there wouldn't be a game.
It seems that the petition got a response. While official word is yet to arrive, some new information appeared on German listing site USK, where it was spotted by German site Gamefront, and finally delivered to us in the King's English by Cubed3. Apparently, there's going to be a DS version of Broken Sword, and it's going to be published by Ubisoft.
We don't know when, yet, but it seems increasingly likely that game's going to happen. If you know anything about the history of point-and-click adventure games, you'll recognise this to be A Good Thing.
