Unity's Union content aggregation program has brought games to mobile devices such as Nokia N9, Xperia Play and BlackBerry PlayBook, but it's not just about portability.

The latest devices to gain reworked titles that use the Unity middleware engine will be LG's smart TVs.

Shown at CES 2012, these TVs include a built-in camera to enables Kinect-like gesture control and stereo 3D, while their Magic Remotes support motion control.

Bigging it up

Content that was demoed included Kiloo's Frisbee Forever and MadFinger's Shadowgun, which was running at 30 fps at 720p.

"These two great games are just the beginning: more Union games will debut on LG smart TV this spring," revealed Union's Tracy Erickson on the Unity blog.
