iPad tower defence title Trenches: Generals reduced to 69p/99c in celebration of global multiplayer update

World War I tower defence offering Trenches: Generals has been reduced in price to celebrate the release of its global Game Center multiplayer update.

Local multiplayer and a "metric ton of lil' tweaks and changes based on your email suggestions" also managed to sneak behind enemy lines and into version 1.2 of the game.

We reviewed Trenches: Generals back in June but the iPad reissue of the Bronze Award-winning iPhone game only managed to muster a 6/10 from Pocket Gamer's Damon Brown.

We'll fight them on the App Store

Trenches: Generals has been built from scratch for the iPad, and contains exclusive features and content not found in its little brother.

The game's Campaign mode, for example, has been expanded and reinvented, with a new perk system allowing you to equip your favourite units with better weaponry.

There's also co-operative and competitive split-screen matches on board, tons of achievements to be unlocked through Game Center and OpenFeint, and HD graphics.

If all of that tickles your fancy you can download Trenches: Generals from the App Store for 69p/99c for a limited time.
