Kurechii's "tower defence game without towers" Tiny Guardians will be out on iOS next week. April 16th, to be precise, and at the price of £2.99 / $3.99.

Last we heard of Tiny Guardians was when Kurechii was looking for beta testers back in July 2014. So it's been a while.

Here's a refresher, then: Your task is to defend Lunalie as she travels through Prism (the world) to find her lost aunt, the Sorceress.

She'll be confronted by beasts, circus folk, and molten abominations along the way. So, to keep her safe, you'll need to summon guardians.

You'll need to pick out a party from the varied guardians that you collect. Some of them use magic, others fire arrows, while others will charge with shields and swords.

They're all useful against different enemies and situations. But it's in combining them that you plot tactics when being overwhelmed by enemies.

To finish it off, Tiny Guardians is realised with a cute cartoon art style that makes it a pleasure to look at. Tiny and cute - my heart sings.

You can find out more about Tiny Guardians on its website. And, as said, it'll be out on iOS next week.
