Not much is known about Tiny Guardians other than that it's a "tower defense game without towers".

Malaysian studio Kurechii seems to be holding back the game's twist for when we are actually able to play it, then.

However, if you can't wait, you can now sign-up to beta test Tiny Guardians by filling out this form. Note that the game is made for iPad and you'll need to give feedback.

Don't worry if you don't get in. It'll come soon enough, and anyway, we've done some snooping to find out what Tiny Guardians is all about.

What we do know is that it's a wonderful looking game. That much is obvious to anyone who looks upon the game's official website.

We also know that it follows Lunalie as she sets off to find her Master - a dangerous quest.

Her only weapons are the 12 Ruemas cards. These allow her to summon heroes in to help her. They each represent a different class and come with their own unique abilities.

We can see a knight, a rogue, a mage, one with a pet dog, and some more unusual classes.

Presumably, then, instead of towers you summon these heroes to battle the enemies for you. Where the game goes from there is anyone's guess.

You should look out for more information on Tiny Guardians on its official website. Remember to sign-up for the beta test if you're interested, too.
