The Amazing Spider-Man updated with Peter Parker costume, new challenge missions, and more

Gameloft has added a batch of new content to its Pocket Gamer Silver Award-winning swing-'em-up The Amazing Spider-Man.

This update includes an all-new suit called the Human-Spider, which allows you to swing around New York City as goofy photographer Peter Parker.

As you can see from the screenshot below, the Human-Spider suit will set you back 8,000 Spiders. This in-game currency can either be earned or acquired through in-app purchases.

If you've already completed this game's main storyline, you'll be pleased to read that there are now several new Urban Acceleration challenge missions to thrash through.

Those of you who are yet to complete the game can now do so easily using the Spider Pass. As you might expect, this is a special, err, pass that you can use to skip particularly difficult missions.

Finally, you can now share the screenshots you take with your friends, relatives, and anyone else you fancy.

The Amazing Spider-Man is available as a Universal app for £4.99 / $6.99.
