Nintendo has just announced that StarFox 64 3D will be in US stores this September, and will feature player reactions in the game's multiplayer mode.

The remake of the classic N64 shooter replaces the portraits of Fox, Slippy, et al with those of your fellow players, with the 3DS camera recording every facial expression.

As Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime puts it, "whether you're celebrating kills or going down in flames, it’ll all be there to watch."

No word was given on a release date for other territories, but American owners only have three months to wait for Fox's portable return.
