Konami announces a new free card battler based on the 6 Star Wars films for iOS and Android

Announced a new card battling game for iOS and Android, Konami has.

Nope, that's not a typo. That is, of course, Yoda talk.

So, Konami has confirmed that it's working on Star Wars: Force Collection, a free-to-play card battler for Apple's and Google's mobile platforms.

As you'd expect, this upcoming game features over 230 heroes, villains, and vehicles from Star Wars I-VI. Plenty of options for your deck, then.

As you embark on quests across recognisable locations from George Lucas's seminal sci-fi series, you'll battle bosses and other players. Every decision you make determines whether you'll fall on the light or the dark side of the Force.

By gaining victory in battle, you level-up your Battle Ranking. You also get the chance to loot your enemies' bodies for Blueprint Pieces from which you can build vehicles.

To upgrade your cards, you can use the in-game currency, crystals. You can earn crystals organically or buy it with real cash. Furthermore, you can just evolve cards by merging more than one of the same card.

Star Wars: Force Collection will be available as a free download from the App Store and Google Play on September 4th.
