Star Drift is an interesting, pared back shooter that you can control with a single finger, pushing on the screen to go up and releasing to float back down.
You fire automatically, and destroyed enemies drop power-ups that can aid you in your quest to pretty much destroy everything that moves.
On the harder difficulty settings they'll also drop viruses that mess up your weapons systems and leave you defenceless for a while.
There's a neat bounce to the play, and it's pretty compulsive once it gets under your skin. While it isn't the sharpest or most original game out there, it's still worth a closer look.
