Crescent Moon Games has successfully invaded Apple's New Zealand App Store and unleashed physics-based battler Siegecraft, which comes packing some nifty iOS 5 features.

The game sees you taking on the role of "the best siege team money can buy", battling across numerous campaigns against waves of enemies, earning cash, and buying upgrades for your deadly equipment.

There are three different races to play - Knights, Vikings, and Samurai - all with their own story driven campaigns, warriors, weapons, buildings, and more.

There are also an additional six campaigns featuring 25 levels to play through, a beginner's campaign, an endless campaign, and an exclusive iPad-only multiplayer campaign.

Freedom

Siegecraft features support for iOS 5 and iCloud, meaning your weapon upgrades and star achievements are seamlessly transferred between all of your devices.

Apple's social gaming network Game Center is also on board to provide leaderboards.

Siegecraft will be available in the UK and US as a Universal app from around midnight tonight. It'll cost you 69p/99c.
