Ghostlight announces Persona 2: Innocent Sin for PSP heading to PAL region 'later this year', including UK, Australia, New Zealand

We’ve known for a while that the first chapter in the two-part Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2 series, Innocent Sin, is being released on PSP throughout North America in late September.

Ghostlight - notable for publishing a ream of MegaTen games - has just announced that Persona 2: Innocent Sin will also be hitting video game shelves in the PAL region later this year.

This means that PSP punters in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, for example, will be able to get their hands for the first time on an official localised translation of the role-playing game.

Persona 2: Innocent Sin will grant players a deeper insight into the Persona universe, which is heavily influenced by the writings of Carl Jung and H. P. Lovecraft.

Whilst there are no fixed dates for the release of Persona 2: Innocent Sin in the PAL region, its publisher expects to see the game launch “later this year”.

As for the second part of the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 2, well, we'll just have to sit patiently for any announcements on Eternal Punishment, won't we.
