It's a mystery to me why there aren't more circus-themed games.

I mean, circuses have everything: elephants, ropes, creepy men in top hats. That's pretty much everything.

If you think along the same lines as I do, then you'll be glad to read that Ring Run Circus will be going live on the App Store in the UK and US at midnight tonight.

Ring Run Circus is a clever little puzzler in which you run around the edges of a series of twisting circles.

You need to grab a key to unlock the exit. Oh, and you need to grab as many glowing flowers as you can manage if you want the best score.

The controls are simple and easy to pick up. By tapping or holding on the left and right of the screen, you can swap from the inside to the outside of the rings. This enables you to swap rings and to jump to avoid obstacles.

Ring Run Circus has an interesting visual style, and its bite-sized platforming puzzles require skill and brain power to complete.

Ring Run Circus will race onto the App Store at midnight tonight. It'll set you back £2.49 / $3.99.
