Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is taking Revolution Software a little longer to complete than it first anticipated

If, like I, you're eagerly awaiting the arrival of Revolution Software's Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse, you'll be incredibly dismayed to read that its launch has been delayed.

You now won't be able to get your greasy mitts on George and Nico's latest point-and-click adventure until sometime during the second half of this year.

Bummer.

Point-and-wait

What's the problem, then?

Well, according to the game's developer, Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse is simply taking a little longer to complete than it originally anticipated.

Basically, the York-based developer needs a few extra months to include all of the extra content that it promised to add to its forthcoming release when it smashed through its funding goal on Kickstarter.

So, while this delay is disappointing, it's far from surprising.
