WizKids's dice-building real-life smash Quarriors will debut on iOS 'later in the month'

The march of the digital boardgame continues unabated.

New Jersey-based WizKids is the latest in a long line of boardgame creators to port one of its smash hit physical dice rollers to the App Store.

The game in question is called Quarriors!

It's what you might call a 'dice builder'. So, you need to build up a set of powerful dice - much like you'd build up a deck of powerful cards in Magic: The Gathering - then use the dice to kill monsters.

There are various ways to win. And you need to secure Quiddity, Glory, and monsters from the wilds if you want to lord it over your opponents.

The digital version of WizKids's boardgame will feature a single-player campaign as well as online and same-device multiplayer.

Quarriors! should surface on the App Store later in the month. We will, of course, keep you updated with any new information on the game as soon as we get it.
