We're delighted to announce the addition of three more big names for this years Very Big Indie Pitch.

The wonderful folk from Rovio, MyGamez and GameSparks are joining Wild Tangent as sponsors of our biggest ever indie developer pitching competition.

Kicking off our PG Connects conference in fine style on 20 January 2014, the Very Big Indie Pitch will allow developers to showcase their wares to engaged journalists and publishers via a unique speed-dating format.

Fast talkin' game developin'

Aside from increasing your chances of media coverage and possibly landing a publishing deal, the challenge is a great way to hone your presentational patter for your game.

So regardless of whether your goal is scoring a publisher, catching the news editor’s eye, scooping investment or even just thinking of the most succinct way to get your message across to potential players, the 4-minute pitch practise is an amazing exercise.

With over $20,000 worth of promotion and services up for grabs for the three top teams plus a chance to network with other developers, publishers and industry professionals from around the globe, the Very Big Indie Pitch looks like it might live up to one developer’s description as ‘the first essential event of 2014’.

To register your game for the VBIP now, simply pop along to this PG Business Network page (or sign up now – it just takes a couple of minutes) and send us some info.

We’ll be picking a short-list around 19 December.
