Steve Wozniak and Trip Hawkins to keynote Apps World

Now into its fourth year, the London-based Apps World conference is shaping up to be the most high profile ever.

It's confirmed Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and Electronic Arts (and Digital Chocolate) founder Trip Hawkins as keynote speakers.

That's just part of an event that consists of 12 conference streams, ranging from gaming to HTML5, mobile marketing, payments & NFC, value-added service and TV apps, and more than 8,000 attendees.

Wonderful wizard of Woz

Hawkins will be headlining the Gaming World track on 22 October.

He'll be tackling the subject described by the organisers as 'the future of apps in the context of cultural change and disruptive products'.

Other speakers include DeNA's Ben Cousins, Gameforge 4D's Carsten van Husen, Wooga's Sebastian Kriese, and Neon Play's Oli Christie.

A certain editor-at-large will be MCing too.

As for Woz, he'll be speaking in the Developer World stream on 23 October. He'll be talking about innovation, creativity and entrepreneurship in the app ecosystem.

Apps World is held at Earls Court 2 in London on 22 and 23 October.
