Nominate YOUR Game of the Year for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2021

You could say we've gone awards crazy. But we'd argue that following a year that's proved more than a little tough for everyone, it feels more appropriate than ever to celebrate the things that bring us a little joy.

So, sure, the pandemic may have messed with our scheduling a touch but we'll roll with it. Meaning that hot on the heels of our very own, very gorgeous Pocket Gamer Awards, comes the PG People's Choice Award 2021.

PG.com veterans will recall that once a year – typically during the run-up to Christmas – we ask you to share your favourite mobile gaming experience of the past 12 months as part of the PG Mobile Games Awards run by our industry-focused sibling site, PocketGamer.biz.

As the only award nominated for and voted on by the players, the PG People's Choice is always a hotly contested affair, as well as one of the ceremony's highlights.

And that's where you come in.

Ruminate then nominate

We're asking you to nominate your top gaming experience of 2020. The RPG you slavishly sacrificed sleep in order to complete. The MOBA you kept bossing when you should have fed the cat. That casual puzzler you snuck a go on during company Zoom calls.

Only you'll know what stood out for you, but we'd love you to share it with us so that game - and the team behind it - gets a chance to have its greatness recognised.

You can do this by filling in this simple form before midnight on May 21st.

We'll then collate all the entries, work out the finalists, and present these for you to vote on. Once that's done, the winner will get announced during the PG Mobile Games Awards ceremony currently set for July 13th.

We'll leave you with a quick, handy bullet-point list of the key bits to consider:

  • Eligible games must have been launched during 2020
  • You can nominate more than once (if you have multiple 'game of the year' picks)
  • Eligible games must have been available on iOS or Android platforms
  • The (new) closing date for nominations is Friday, May 21st, 2021
