Billing itself as the first conference for mobile app creators to set up shop in Paris, AppDays is a one day event that will gather more than 200 developers and designers from the mobile industry on 9 November 2012.

Over the course of 14 different sessions, AppDays will welcome speakers such as Microsoft technical evangelist David Catuhe, Chocolapps CEO Michael Guez, Appsfire co-founder Yann Lechelle and Antoine Guénard of AppGratuities.

The topics they'll be discussing include cross-platform development, how to climb the app store rankings and monetisation strategies for app developers.

Roll up, roll up

"Mobile apps development and marketing is wrongly considered by many as similar to what you would do for websites. But growing from web professional to professional specialist isn't that easy actually," explained AppDays founder Serge Roukine to PocketGamer.biz.

"Our goal with AppDays is really to show how people have succeed in the mobile arena and how to proceed and avoid mistakes in this market.

"We really think this brand new world is really at the beginning and that most remains to be done!"

Tickets are still available for AppDays 2012, and are currently being sold for €119. As of 2 November, that price will increase to €149. To find out more about AppDays 2012, visit the event's website.
