Get lucky at Pocket Gamer's St. Patrick's party at GDC 2014

You might not be all too keen on our articles – lets be honest, who is – but no-one can deny that Pocket Gamer parties are, in the kids' vernacular, 'made of legend'.

For those of you headed to GDC in San Francisco, your next chance to sample one of our big bashes will be at Roe on 17 March.

Kicking off at 8pm and running until late, we'll be indulging in some serious St. Paddy's mayhem to help kickoff GDC in style.

What's more, you're invited.

RSVP now

PlayStation's legendary DJ R3Y is headlining the night as he mixes up his special blend of elektrohouse and VGM, so expect to spot Zelda in the mix as you sink into little nooks to hangout with industry friends you haven't seen in forever.

There will also be crafty cocktails and savoury bites aplenty on offer as you delight in Irish-themed fun and games.

Last year's Pocket Gamer party was so over the top, people are still talking about it! Many thanks to FunPlus, Chukong Technologies, Everyplay and AppsFlyer for their generous sponsorship.

Pocket Gamer's party at GDC 2013 was a night to remember, even if many had forgotten large parts of it by the following morning

Hundreds have already signed up. To attend, RSVP at Eventbrite and make sure you turn up early to avoid any queues. We'll also be running the Pocket Gamer Awards celebrating the best in mobile games earlier in the evening, kicking off at 6pm.

It doesn't stop there, either. If you're an indie developer hitting San Francisco with a game in your pocket, sign up for our Big Indie Pitch sponsored by Immersion, where mobile game devs will get a chance to meet with dozens of leading journalists and pitch for coverage and prizes.
