Flexion portal provides flexible pricing solutions for mobile game retailers

Accumulate UK demonstrated its new On Game Portal function of its Flexion service at this year’s World Mobile Congress, which aims to make it easier for online mobile retailers to offer a more traditional retail model for its products.
“We have worked with our flexible licensing solution for over two years now with leading games retailers like Hutchison 3UK and have, during this period, analysed where the market is going, explains Accumulate UK MD Jens Lauritzson.
“We now cater for all players in the value chain and can serve customers both on and off portal with new pricing models. Our On Game Portal can be part of any wrapped java content and offers great on-device retailing opportunities to the masses.”
The Flexion system automatically prepares any Java application or game so retailers can quickly and easily offer it either for sale or on a license. Consumers are given the option to try before they buy, rent for a day or to have a go for 25p, expanding the option for promotions quite considerably and increasing market penetration by removing the risk for the end user.
