Do you develop games? Do you have an interesting idea for a game or service, and are you keen to have your business or product developed?

Do you want to find an investor?

If so, come to the Digital Dragons 2014 in Kraków, Poland, and meet the investors interested in the video games sector.

VC Speed Networking is a model of exclusive face-to-face meetings between companies and investors.

The meeting will be held in a special hall on the second day of the Digital Dragons 2014 conference - 9th May 2014.

What's in your wallet?

Investors will be seated at their tables, and entrepreneurs interested in working together will join them. This format makes it possible for the participants to start new contacts during talks that last anything from 5 to 8 minutes.

During this time, representatives of companies have a opportunity to present their business and projects to potential investors. After a set time partners are swapped, and the entrepreneur goes on to present projects to successive investors.

"The idea for this format of meetings between businesses from the games sector and technology start-ups with potential investors is nothing new. But no one has succeeded in gathering a sufficient number of investors interested in this highly promising sector in Poland," says Krzysztof Krzysztofiak, vice president of the Kraków Technology Park.

"I am glad that we are the first and I hope that the investors' interest in the games sector will only increase in the coming years, and such meetings will become a standard also in Poland," he adds.

All the big boys

Participants of VC Speed Networking will include leading investment funds: Experior Venture Fund, SpeedUp Venture Capital Group, Innovo Venture, Aviva Investors, Intel Capital, Giza Polish Venture, FZ KPT, Warsaw Equity, and 3TS Capital Partners.

"We realise that a few minutes for presenting your businesses is not a lot of time. We know, however, that the formula allows a preliminary presentation of the project. In Poland, we currently have around 250 businesses developing games.

"The Polish investors who so far have only incidentally invested in games will now have an opportunity to become familiar with the best projects," points out Mariusz Socha, Digital Dragons' coordinator.

"I hope that there will be time for the final investment talks - initiated at the Digital Dragons - in the comfort of the investors' boardrooms."

Participants of VC Speed Networking will not only include seed funds investing in young businesses, but also venture capital and private equity funds interested in established business who are ready to expand.
