Previously limited to French companies, the Milthon awards have widened participation to include European developers.

Set up to promote games, and particularly indie games, as a cultural industry, there are eight awards, including a specific best mobile game.

Last year, this was won by Globz for its Globulos Party, while mobile publisher Bulkypix won the Milthon Revelation award for its iPhone game Hysteria Project.
