Last Pirate: Survival Island is a brand new survival crafting game available on Android and iOS in Early Acces right now, and it offers so much gameplay for crafting fans on the go.
It starts out as crafting games have since the days of Lost in Blue and Minecraft. You'll spawn in the world with nothing but will quickly break apart trees, rocks, chests, and more in order to find tools and materials to survive in the new wilderness. The essentials to survival
There are loads of different materials available in the game, but there are two which will be necessary throughout the whole game. Wood and stone.
If you've played any survival game you'll already know the deal. You can go up to trees and rocks and just hammer away with your hook in order to do damage to it and collect wood and stone. Interactable objects will highlight in blue when you are within range to use them.
You should use ideal tools, too. These tools will make gathering much, much faster. The hatchet should be used for trees to get wood, and a pickaxe should be used on rocks for stone. The rate at which you collect materials will be drastically heightened.

Better tools
The basic tools won't last you forever, so you'll soon find yourself looking for something better. After all, the durability really isn't all it's cracked up to be.
You can unlock improved and superior versions of tools in the crafting menu, but you'll need to study them, and you'll need blueprint shards for that.
These blue triangles can drop from enemies and animals you kill, and collecting them all will fast track you to better gear and more success.

Close to camp
As a rule, it's best to place all of your essential items and tools close to your camp, and you should really forage in the local area too.
You need a lot of materials, and I mean a lot, and to collect them all it's best that you stock things up at home. Empty out stacks of wood and stone so you don't clog up your inventory.
Before you clear out the nearby area, you're sure to have trees and other items nearby respawn, so you never really need to venture out too far, only if you want to.

Pick your target
In general you should aim for a single item you want to craft. Decide what is most important, see what materials you need, and focus on those first.
You might want to get a new furnace, or save for a weapon upgrade, but then upgrading your shelter is also tempting. Just decide which is most important to you before you mindlessly go out collecting.
Some materials might require other crafted items to create, like a furnace for iron, and a weave for cloth and rope. If you're unsure where you can get a material, check through the items you can craft to see if they can help.
