Kind of Soccer is kind of soccer, or football if you're from this side of the great soggy divide. It's a tactical flicky contest that sees you trying to pelt the ref with as many balls as you can.
Your team of blocky players stand resolute in a specific formation and it's up to you to pass the ball between them, shepherding the ref into the right position to smack him in the chops.
But if you mash the ball out of play, or if in later levels the opposition players manage to get a touch, the ref gets a point. First to five wins.
There are power-ups to unlock, new garish pitches to nab, and extra buffs and helpers to gain as well.
Kind of Soccer is out right now on the App Store, where it'll set you back 69p / 99c. And all in all I reckon that's a fair price.
