The Academy: The First Riddle 9+

Pls read, there is a big problem

Great game! Mostly it is wonderful, and the puzzles are great! But there is one problem I would like to notify you guys about. I don’t know if this is supposed to happen, but Dom and Maya keep saying I need to pull a lever to free Professor Wilson. I go to the basement to find the lever. I am now stuck in the caved-in basement. There is no lever in sight, I can walk through the rocks, and there is another one of me. The blue diamond is pointing me to a object. Yet it is solved, and will not let me touch it. Professor Wilson is nowhere in sight. I watched a video on the third chapter. Apparently it should go right to exam results. Instead I am stuck in the basement. I need help. Pls fix the problem soon

I love it!

I had no problem playing the entire first chapter. I read a lot of people experienced problems, but fortunately I didn’t encounter any. I personally like these kind of games. You often have to solve puzzles, which a lot of people don’t seem to like, but I actually enjoyed the type of puzzles they have in this game. It makes you really think hard! The adventure is fun, I wish it was longer. But I know the first chapter is just an introduction.

The only thing I don’t like about this game is the controller. Moving your character around is a bit of a pain.

I’m still going back and forth to buy the bundle. It’s a lot of money if the rest of the chapters was as short as the first one. And I wish I could go back after finishing the chapter to take the bonus puzzles that I skipped. It doesn’t let you do that. But honestly I really want to know the rest of the story.

Chapter 1 is only 3 days long, while chapters 2 and 3 are 11 days in total, so quite bigger. ;)

Needs fixes!

I would first like to say that I love the gameplay and puzzles. The Academy is partly based on Professor Layton, the main reason why I got it. The next PL game isn’t coming out til 2025, so I’m just waiting here for yet another year…

But anyway, this game has so many downsides that I’m deleting it. There are glitches, constant ads, typos in the dialogue, and I can’t even finish the game! Sometimes the background disappears when I’m talking to someone and a few of the daily books are absolutely impossible to collect. Ads hit you every thirty seconds, and I read how other players have paid for no ads and then still had ads. The dialogue needs to be checked out. I can’t even finish the game! I just run around with Ed and my clone in the dark tunnel! I am really disappointed. If the developer fixes these issues, I’ll consider reinstalling. I’m not even sure the developer reads these reviews anymore though.😢
