$10 million strong HeroCraft on the lookout for 'strategic partnership'
Previous negotiations prove fruitless
Details are sketchy, but MobileGamesBlog is reporting that Russian developer HeroCraft has put itself on the market.
The blog claims HeroCraft, which has a portfolio of titles that stretch from smartphones to Java, had previously been engaged in negotiations with unnamed parties to tap up a suitable partner for growth.
Following the break down of such talks, the developer – which analysts predict is worth $10 million - is now on the look out for a new partner.
Pondering a partnershipJust form such a deal would take - whether buyout or strategic alliance - is unclear, however.
The firm certainly has previous in terms of signing important deals, having picked up license agreements to bring a series of games from rivals – including iPhone and Android hit Farm Frenzy – to Windows Mobile, BlackBerry, Symbian and J2ME back in 2009.
More recently, HeroCraft has enjoyed much success on Nokia's Ovi Store, with total downloads surpassing 12.3 million in December.
