I want to preface this by saying the browser version is amazing. I am hooked. 10/10 The mobile version is not as good. Aside from the UI not being the most intuitive system, (which is understandable) I really just wish there was a Dark Mode/etc, and that the player's inner monologue/updates/etc didn't block the screen and actions. There should be a way to swipe them away or have them out of the way of the interactables. It just slows everything down too much for a game that costs money..

Great game, despite the graphics and the common standards in games now, this game with just simple buttons and a small RPG like factor is actually very fun. There is a hint of managing skills but managing the people and what their jobs are. The story to this game is minimal but still great, shows how our character as they progress gets more cruel even though we aren't directly making our character cruel. This is a great game to play when you're bored and/or you have no Internet.

Deceptively simple on the surface, but stick with it, and you'll be rewarded. I've finished A Dark Room at least four times now, but still found a few surprises on the last playthrough. The app version has a few extras for those who may already be familiar with the web version, too. Really can't overstate how wonderful this little game is!
