A wonderful imaginative gleefully oddball point and click adventure!!! I'm not gonna lie - at some point I left the game in frustration, but once you get used to its rhythms and particular idiosyncracies, it'll keep you hanging on 'till the very end!!! Notes: take the time to follow each branching conversational option to its ending point. You get funny comments and the next clues that way. When stuck, check to see which objects show up in your menu cog, and puzzle out how they could be used.

Truberbrook's greatest strength is its artstyle. However, as a point-and-click game it fell flat for me. Some of the puzzles are very unintuitive and triggering certain events to happen requires you to do something strangely specific. I did not find the plot or characters compelling and the ending wasn't executed very well. There were some typos in the subtitles and I had issues with tapping menu items. I feel like 3 stars is a fair rating for the effort put into the art alone though.

Looked great. Controls are crazy unresponsive. I often have to repeat commands several times. He will just walk over and then not interact. I'll then have to repeat the command two or three times to get it to work. When inspecting environmental objects sometime dialog will flash on the screen too quickly to read. The clothesline by the inn, for example. If it pops up at all.
