Prepare to commit acts of terrible violence in God of War Collection on Vita on May 8th

If you're ever bored, you can sing "God of War" along to the theme tune of Game of Thrones. Give it a go. It's quite fun.

You could do it to pass the time until May 8th, for instance. That's because May 8th is the confirmed release date for the God of War Collection on PS Vita in the UK.

Our American cousins would have less singing to do, mind, because God of War Collection will go on sale in the US on May 6th. Lucky blighters.

Two-hit combo

Anyway. This forthcoming two-game collection features polished and smoothed versions of the first two God of War games. That's God of War and God of War II.

They're both about Kratos, a very angry man who wants to punch the pantheon of Greek gods until their faces fall off. Because he's angry. And because they always seem to be looking over his shoulder.

Here's some footage from God of War II on Vita to prove it.

Not just 'punch', either.

Kratos has a special magic sword flail thing with which he likes to whip people. And he rarely wears trousers. I hear the games are quite good, though, if you're into that sort of thing.

Along with the remastered visuals in the God of War Collection, there'll be dual analogue support, touchscreen bits, and unlockable trophies.

God of War Collection will be available in the UK in physical real-world shops and on PSN on May 8th. If you can't wait that long, move to the US to get it two days earlier.
