Discovery specialist FreeAppADay has announced its latest app – the FreeAppADay Store – has topped 1.5 million downloads in its first 12 days.

The app is designed to promote paid apps that go free for 24 hours.

FreeAppADay claims it's the fastest growing app the company has launched to date – daily downloads averaging 125,000 - with total downloads for all three releases coming in at 3.2 million.

Expansion appears to be next on the agenda, with the company announcing a partnership social media marketing and app developer 3CIM Korea and Ovenbreak-Infinity studio Devsisters to launch a dedicated Facebook app.

"The launch of the FreeAppADay Store has been successful well beyond our expectations," said CEO Joe Bayen.

"We are also very excited to be partnering with the very talented Devsisters studio and 3CIM Korea, and we are also teaming up to work on great new projects."
