Fortnite has dropped a teaser for upcoming collaboration with Dragon Ball that will go live soon
Fortnite has had a ton of collaborations in the past, particularly after the launch of its second chapter. We’ve seen popular movie franchises and TV shows like The Avengers, Star Wars, John Wick, and Stranger Things. There have been characters from other games like Kratos and Master Chief, partnerships with singers, and even rappers.
It's time for another one of these collaborations and it is going to be absolutely massive. Those who have been following the leaks over the last few weeks will know who’s coming, but for those of you that don’t, Fortnite is officially collaborating with the humongous Dragon Ball franchise, one of the most beloved animes ever!
If you see the Tweet embedded above, you’ll recognise that the creature shown is Shenron, the Dragon God who can grant any wish when he is summoned after collecting the seven Dragon Balls. Well, it seems like a lot of fans’ wishes have been answered because Goku and his gang of buddies are making their way to the battle royale. According to the Tweet, which has now become Fortnite’s most liked Tweet ever (in just under a day), the collaboration will go live on August 16th.
That means just a few days until Goku is running around the map attacking people with not his Kamehameha unfortunately, but instead with an assault rifle. Try to picture that. All that talk about Goku taking on Superman can finally be tested. But skins aren’t going to be the only addition as the leaks have already revealed new Dragon Ball capsules around the map and a new lobby background featuring the Kame House, which is also rumoured to be a new POI.Also, check out this list of the best battle royales to play on mobile!
