Take a test drive at the System 3 booth

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli screeches into the British International Motor Show

Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli. That's more of an Italian mouthful than a mixing bowl full of Tagliatelli Carbonara. Still, it's about time Ferrari got back into the video game racing arena - it's been a long time since Out Run.

The new System 3 racing game is being made available for a test drive at the British International Motor Show (which kinda sounds like a contradictory title, but nonetheless).

"This is a great opportunity to showcase the game to the country's most avid motoring fans," says Mark Cale, CEO at System 3. "Everything about the game is Ferrari through and through, so we can't wait for it to be scrutinised by some of the biggest petrol heads out there."

The DS version has already been released (along with the PS3) and went down a treat at Pocket Gamer. Still, there's no reason not to stop by the racing booth if you're attending the show, and getting into the horse-power showdown with the revved-up dev team.

Yes. Spanner's his real name, and he's already heard that joke you just thought of. Although Spanner's not very good, he's quite fast, and that seems to be enough to keep him in a regular supply of free games and away from the depressing world of real work.
