Farming Simulator 16 adds forestry to the agricultural lifestyle, out on iOS and Android on August 6th

Giants Software has announced that Farming Simulator 16 will be out for iOS and Android on August 6th.

It has been two years since we've had one of these on mobile so hopefully there have been significant improvements in that time. Farming Simulator 14 didn't fare so well, you see.

Obviously, it'll be more of the same-old farming, meaning you'll be tending to crops and harvesting them to make money.

But we're told that there will be big brands, new crops, more realistic graphics, and local multiplayer. That much is to be expected out of a sequel.

However, changing up the formula a little bit, Farming Simulator 16 will be the first in the series to have "forestry gameplay."

Yep, you'll be using heavy machinery to chop down trees while sustaining the forest. Then selling on the logs for profit as always.

Farming Simulator 16 will be out next Thursday so we'll remind you when you can buy it.
