At E3 2015, during its main "Digital Event," Nintendo unveiled a new Metroid Prime game for Nintendo 3DS. It's called Metroid Prime: Federation Force and focuses on multiplayer.

There's a four player co-op mode where you battle nasties in the Metroid Prime universe.

And remember that Metroid-looking Blast Ball game from earlier in the week? It's actually a 3 on 3 game inside Federation Force.

The game's out in 2016.
