Chinese mobile publisher MorningTec raises $8.3 million

Yodo1 and iDreamsky are two of the best known companies who are publishing western mobile games in China.

But they are not the only ones.

MorningTec offers similar services, and as well as publishing mobile games also offers access to its Stella SDK, an Objective-C to Android middleware.

Cash in

And now it's closed its first big funding round to expand that vision.

The $8.2 million (RMB 50 million) investment was funded by Haitong Leading Capital Management.

Its VP Lv Jiadie said it thought that MorningTec's technical and operation expertise provide a strong foundation for future growth.

Technode is currently working with western developers such as Gamelion and Klik! Games.
