Foursaken Media has just posted the first details of its upcoming sort-of-sequel to the Silver Award-winning genre mash-up Block Fortress over on the Touch Arcade forums.

Foursaken Media is pitching Block Fortress War as a mobile MOBA, albeit with RTS components and the block-building Minecraft-style creation elements that set the first game apart.

You pick one of four races, each of which has three unique heroes. Once you've picked a hero, you can equip your creep squads (groups of minions over which you don't have any direct control). The way they then react is dependent on the equipment you give them.

So far, Foursaken Media has confirmed two of the four races.

The well-bearded Block Men are those chaps above. The green-skinned ork-alikes the Goblocks are those fellows below.

As you can see, each of the armies has its own unique set of skills and flaws.

The ultimate aim of the game is to destroy your enemy's base. Along the way, though, you'll build forward points, enforce them with block-built defences, and gain a better flow of resources.

As well as a single-player campaign, Block Fortress War will boast an extensive PvP mode. Here, you can pit your army against your friends to see whose collection of grunts and heroes is the strongest.

As always, we'll keep you updated about all the important stuff, like gameplay, the two remaining races, price, and release date, when we know more.
