After a lengthy beta period in France, Gameloft's Team Fortress 2-styled free-to-play shooter Blitz Brigade is now available to download from the App Store and Google Play worldwide.

As you've probably already guessed, Blitz Brigade allows you to compete with, and against, other players from around the world. You'll pick one of five unique classes: soldier, gunner, medic, sniper, stealth.

Your aim in Blitz Brigade - as it is in most shooters - is to fill your many opponents full of lead before they have a chance to do the same to you.

Battles play out across different game modes, including Domination (in which you're tasked with controlling areas of the battlefield) and Deathmatch (where your aim is to kill everyone you see).

There are over 100 weapons to get your blood-drenched mitts on, by the way. Plus, tanks, jeeps, choppers, and the like.

The in-app purchases have changed since our exposé earlier this year. You can still buy guns and pay to kill everyone on screen, but you no longer need to fork out for each multiplayer match.

If you fancy it, you can download Blitz Brigade from the App Store [download] and Google Play [download] right this second.
