Racing Master's second beta test is underway and introduces new cars and game modes

NetEase and Codemasters have announced that a second beta test for Racing Master is now underway. It is taking place on iOS and Android, but only players in Canada and the USA can get involved. Alongside the beta, NetEase has revealed that the game will officially launch sometime in 2022.

The previous beta test took place in April and saw over 25,000 people from North America taking part. Those players then provided feedback which the developer has worked on since. Now, over the next ten days, anyone who missed out has a chance to hop into the driving seat and take Racing Master for a spin.

The latest beta test will introduce several features to Racing Master. This includes the addition of 18 cars from the likes of Ferrari, Koenigsegg, and McLaren. Similarly, players can race around three new tracks - Yas Marina, Sicily and Barcelona - and compete in new game modes.

The first of these is Team Race, which sees players competing in 4v4 races. The second is Team Elimination mode, a tournament where the winners from each round will move on to the next. You can check out the latest additions in the trailer above.

If you're unfamiliar, Racing Master is a real-time racing sim. It aims to provide a realistic experience in every aspect of the sport, whether that's handling, performance or simply the roar of the engine. For added depth, players can customise their vehicles at both a cosmetic and performance level. A host of iconic manufacturers will feature, including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston Martin, Porsche, and Koenigsegg.

Racing Master will release globally on the App Store and Google Play sometime in 2022. It will be a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. Those looking to participate in the iOS beta can download it via TestFlight.
