Galaxy Splitter, upjers and NeoBird's new fighter pilot shoot 'em up, is out now for Android devices

The vertical shooter Galaxy Splitter from upjers and NeoBird launches into the sky today for Android devices via the Google Play Store. Get ready to take off and soar in a classic shoot 'em up as a fighter pilot, shooting and looting and collecting cargo even as you go beyond the skies into space.

In Galaxy Splitter, players can expect a wide variety of missions from making sure every piece of cargo is accounted for to blasting away at every single foe with awesome boosters to deal heavier damage. As varied as the missions themselves, the spaceships in the game have their own unique characteristics, and it's up to you to determine which better suits your goal for a particular mission.

For instance, a cargo collecting mission will require a lot of storage space in your vehicle, while a hunting mission means that you need to pick a spaceship that can withstand incoming fire from enemies. You can take your pick from among all the ships in your hangar, from the freighter Vulture to the scavenger Sparrow. You may simply need to pick up passengers and deliver cargo safely from one point to another, or have to defeat an armada of enemies using everything from rockets to lasers. You may even have to master a bunch of evasive maneuvers to survive a barrage of incoming attacks.

Galaxy Splitter also lets you choose the right ammunition for your missions such as splitting ammunition that divides on impact and homing ammo that follows its mark. If you're eager to give it a go, you can download the game on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
