Lineage2M, the hit Korean MMORPG, launches globally in winter with closed beta registrations open now

Lineage2M, NCSOFT’s mobile MMORPG that topped the Korean Charts, is officially coming to iOS and Android worldwide this winter. Just like the massive world of Lineage2M, the game’s winter launch will occur simultaneously in 29 countries with the game being available in English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Polish. Pre-orders are currently active and will reward players with numerous items when the game finally releases. As of now, players can also register for a spot in the closed beta by visiting the official Lineage2M website.

The game is based on the Lineage fantasy world and features five playable races – Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Dark Elves, and Orcs. The weapons accompanying these characters include Swords, Dual Swords, Daggers, Bows, Staves, and Orbs and the chosen weapon will determine the player’s profession. Each weapon will have its own set of strengths and weaknesses, so choose according to your playstyle. Lineage2M also boasts some beautiful 3D environments that have been rendered in 4K ultra-high-definition. NCSOFT has assured us that environments will load effortlessly in this gigantic world. In fact, it is set to be the world’s largest open world mobile game, allowing over 10,000 players to participate in large-scale battles. That is huge!

All of the features mentioned above will be available in the closed beta to test out. However, any progression in the closed beta test will be reset when the game officially launches later this year.

Along with Lineage2M comes NCSOFT’s proprietary PC cross-play service called PURPLE. It will allow users to play Lineage2M on PC and mobile, with progress transitioning seamlessly between the two.
