Genshin Impact: List of upcoming events in patch 2.2

Following the announcement of the Genshin Impact V2.2 update that’s set to release on October 13th, we learned the game will be hosting a bunch of exciting events. According to the leaks, the upcoming version will introduce tons of adjustments, new content and social features.

Speaking of events, in this article, we have listed all the upcoming events that you can take part in along with all the details you need about them. Note that the events will be available throughout the patch.

Shadow of Ancients

You have likely met the Ruin Grader while trawling around Tsurumi Island. In this event, you will be tasked with locating the mysterious source of energy that powers the area. After successfully uncovering the source, you can also grab Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore and lots more rewards.

Labyrinth Warriors

Ready to tackle multiple enemies with another team? Enter the creepy dungeon and be prepared for surprise attacks. In this event, you will have to complete the dungeon with another team so make sure to carry sufficient support items.

Upon completion, you will receive Primogems, Mora, and Hero’s Wit. Remember to pick the dropped items after slaying enemies because a few of the monsters carry Aged Tokens, which can be exchanged for Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, Talent Book, Character Ascension Material, and Xinyan, a 4-Star character.

Showcase your music skills in this event by playing an instrument called the Floral Zither. While playing it, characters from Teyvat will accompany you and help you to make it more exciting. The main aim is to pair up with seven other travellers and play numerous melodies. Needless to say, you will be rewarded with Mora and Primogems.

Ley Line Overflow

In the previous updates, Blossom of Wealth and Revelation events were held. Ley Line Overflow brings them back again for a short period of time. If you want to nab the 3X reward, make sure to log into the game on time and complete the tasks.

Dreams of Bloom

The famous flower shop in Inazuma Island, Sakuya’s Flower is promoting itself. You, along with other travellers, can team up and help Sakuya to obtain varieties of flower seeds.

Once you obtain them, plant them as soon as possible to grow them into Dreamblooms. After the flowers bloom from the plants, exchange them in the in-game shop to get Primogems and Mora.

Hangout Events

Generally, Hangout Events have multiple story quests that can be replayed and have multiple endings. In other words, the ending depends upon your actions during the quests. Each patch update adds new story quests. Similarly, patch 2.2 adds two new quests that can be unlocked by using story keys.

Genshin Impact x Horizon Zero Dawn

Later in this patch, there will be a crossover event with Horizon Zero Dawn, a popular action RPG. During this crossover, players can use the huntress, Aloy to complete tasks. The character will be sent through the in-game mail system and will be available permanently.
