Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat will have a global release, with no official date announced just yet

As if we haven’t been hanging onto the edge of our seats enough, Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is now confirmed to have a global release - it’s all just a matter of when. TapTap Tweeted this confirmation recently, so here’s hoping Chinese company Yunchang Games (NebulaJoy) will follow through soon.

Ultra-stylish action mobile game Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat is a spin-off of the insanely popular IP from Capcom. It was first released in China on June 11th and has since then been making waves, and raising quite an uproar for players in other regions. Now, fans from other parts of the globe will also be able to unleash Dante’s sick stunts as he rids the world of nasty demons with the help of his trusty blade Rebellion and rapid-fire guns Ebony and Ivory.

With guns a-blazing and red coats billowing in the wind, Dante is joined by long-time franchise fave Lady and her humongous weapon, Kalina Ann. Given that both demonic twin brothers are in the game (finally, Vergil will have the screen time he deserves), it seems as if the game may be set after the events of Devil May Cry 3, or at least a combination of the first three games in the series.

This global release was also first hinted at in a deleted Tweet from NebulaJoy, which stated that they can “fully confirm that our team is working day and night to make the game in English and other languages so that all of you may experience this excitement.”

We can’t really determine the official release date at the moment, so I suppose we’ll just have to torture ourselves in anticipation a little bit longer.
