Since the release of Activision’s Call of Duty: Mobile, one of the most popular shooters on the market, the game has put out various modes and features. Among all of them, the most popular is Zombie mode which the developers had originally added back in 2019. This particular mode stands out from the rest such as the standard Battle Royale and the Multiplayer mode.
What is a Call of Duty: Mobile Zombie Mode?Zombie Mode was an intense zombie shooting action mode, where players form a team of four and battle against wave upon wave of zombies. The last team or player who successfully manages to beat these creepy creatures wins the round.
Why was Zombie Mode removed from Call of Duty: Mobile?Zombie Mode was removed in March 2020, few weeks after its release globally. The main reason for the removal of the mode was due to its low quality. Initially, the developers had planned to create a mode similar to the quality of the other ones, but right after its release in-game the mode failed to deliver. However, the developers had also hinted about its re-release in the future.
Is the Zombie Mode coming back in Call of Duty: Mobile?Although a lot of leaks and predictions surfaced on the internet regarding the re-release of Zombie Mode in Season 3, nothing has been announced just yet. An official community post on Reddit made it clear that the team are not in a hurry to push the mode live anytime soon.
Apart from that, TiMi Studios also commented that they are working on the development of other modes which includes Multiplayer, Battle Royale, and Ranked. In the meantime, if Zombie Mode reaches the desired quality, then players might get their hands on it in the near future.
