SwordMaster Story, the hack 'n' slash RPG, hits 2 million downloads since launch

SwordMaster Story, Super Planet's hack 'n' slash RPG is collaborating with the hit Japanese anime, Konosuba, in an event that will run until May 31st. While the collaboration is underway, the game has seen a surge in its downloads on both Google Play and the App Store.

In a recent announcement, SuperPlanet, the publisher of the RPG, stated that the downloads have crossed over 2 million. The publisher also added that the surge in numbers is because of the collaboration with the popular anime.

For those unaware of the anime, Konosuba is a Japanese Light Novel Series penned by Natsume Akatsuki. It follows Kazuma, a school-going kid, who embarks on an adventure in a fantasy world.

The reason behind the increasing number is, the unique content of the collaboration is drawing the attention of the RPG players along with the fans of the anime. On top of that, the publisher is thankful to the entire graphics team as the game perfectly renders the animations and combat motions of the Konosuba character, which makes it visually impressive.

Along with the ongoing Konosuba collaboration, SuperPlanet has added new content called The Abyss that comes with some minor improvements to the existing offering. Finally, to make the collaboration a remarkable one, SuperPlanet has planned out multiple events for the players who are continuously supporting the game and made Konosuba collaboration a successful one.

Also, new and old users alike can grab special coupons that contain stamina and rubies. The rewards can be collected from the official Discord Community of the game. Make sure to collect them before the event ends.

Sword Master Story is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
