Pokemon Go to celebrate June's Community Day with Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon
Niantic is all set to celebrate Community Day in June. The featured Pokemon this time will be Gible, the Land Shark Pokémon. Previously, the game had also carried out Community Day in May, with Swablu as the star Pokemon. The event is set to run from June 6th from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time.
Details of the event:- During the event, players get an increased chance of catching Gible as it will be appearing more often in the wild. Players can also encounter a Shiny Gible during the event if they are lucky.
- Evolve Gible into Gabite during the event or up to two hours afterwards to obtain Garchomp with the move Earth Power attack.
- Additional encounters can be unlocked by taking random snapshots.
- Grab the one-time purchasable Community Day Box that will be available for 1,280 PokéCoins. The box will contain 50 Ultra Balls, five Incense, five Lucky Eggs, and an Elite Charged TM.

- In order to access the Gible Community Day-exclusive Special Research story, players will have to buy a ticket for $1 (or the equivalent price in their local currency).
- The tickets for the Just a Nibble Special Research story are scheduled later. Players need to keep an eye on the sale of the tickets and keep in mind that the tickets are nonrefundable.
- Participation in the Special Research will not include an in-game medal.
- 3× Catch XP
- Incense activated during the event will last for a total of three hours.
