Gameloft has recently announced its upcoming worldwide esports competition for its massively popular racing title, Asphalt 9: Legends. The tournaments will be held in partnership with Italian sports car maker, Lamborghini and ESL Italy. Fans of the esports racing scene will be able to watch the action unfold on May 13th.

As the game has successfully managed to gather a billion downloads in the app markets, the publisher is hoping for massive participation in this global tournament. Players who have their Essenza SCV12 can enter the first “Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 Challenge”. This round will consist of three qualifiers which will be the base for the selection of top and deserving players.

After managing to qualify in the early rounds, players will be heading to a single playoff, and finally the last round or the Finals that’s scheduled to be on September 18th, which will be broadcasted as well.

In addition, Asphalt 9 is proud to partner with Lamborghini as they get a special chance to feature the super limited edition of Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. A 12-cylinder with 830 hp output, developed by Lamborghini Squadra Corse and designed by Lamborghini Centro Stile, with a total of only forty-two manufactured to date.

Also, players who participate in the tourney will get a chance to win fantastic Lamborghini prizes and experience the super limited edition hypercar Lamborghini Essenza SCV12. This could be a very rare chance to get your hands on the car as it is super hard to come by.
