Titan Quest update adds mobile controller support and other features

HandyGames has updated its mobile role-playing game Titan Quest with some new highly-requested features, including controller support and some UI improvements. The update is available now for iOS and Android devices.

The biggest takeaway from this update is that Titan Quest now supports controllers on both iOS and Android. You can now hook up your gamepad, such as an Xbox controller or a DualShock 4, either via a cable link or Bluetooth connection. You can even switch between controller input and back to the touch controls on the fly for added versatility.

There’s more to this update though. HandyGames took player feedback on board and implemented several other features.

Many of these are UI changes, such as the enemy highlighting effect from PC now being added to mobile. The attack button has now been changed to show the currently used weapon and the XP bar has been redesigned to show the current XP permanently. Subtitles have also been added to the cutscenes for supported languages and you can now reset your position in the pause menu.

This update also fixes a bunch of bugs and crashes. The NPC sounds being broken after using fast game speed has now been fixed, as well as a bug where you’d get no gold when selling items at the Gambler. Issues with quest/cloud saves have also been resolved.

You can download Titan Quest now from the iOS App Store and the Google Play for Android store, where it is a paid title which costs £17.99.
