Words for a Bird is a unique word-based puzzler that is sort of like other word games. However, this game features a unique concept as you'll need to complete sentences. Letters are scattered and you need to figure which word is missing.

Another unique aspect is that it features a beautiful, artistic design, and a dark background. This can make the game great for night play. Created by Bart Bonte, the game tries to tell a story as you try and complete the sentences and advance.

It's almost like you're reading a really short book while completing different sentences. A lot of word games are basically classic word searches (and great ones might I add), so Words for a Bird is something a bit different, and we give you a few basic tips to keep in mind when playing.

Sentences String Together

One thing that's important to remember is that Words for a Bird is trying to tell a story. It's easy to just see what sentences in front of you, but try to think about what the previous one was. Use that as a free hint of sorts of what word can be used to complete the next sentence.

Of course, reading the current sentence carefully, and looking at the letters you have available is helpful too. That said, thinking about the previous message is a great way to piece the puzzle together. The game does a really good job of making the player read thoroughly.

Look closely at the sentence in front of you and then sift through the letters that are there. Feel free to play around a little bit to see if you can figure it out. This is another way to figure out the word.

Take Advantage of Hints

Words for a Bird gives gamers a helpful aid if they get stuck. Certainly, sitting there and really thinking about what the word is can be a little frustrating. So, if things aren't going so well, then you can tap a little light bulb in the top right corner of your screen.

This will give you different hints, that can give you an advantage. Eventually, with enough clicks of the bulb, the whole word will be revealed. However, in order to get the hints, you'll need to view ads. After looking at 30-second ads, you'll be given your hint.

To make things more fun, it's always great to try and figure it out yourself and it might make you feel smarter than you already are. But, it's nice to have the lightbulb there for you when you need it. Click on it and make things a little bit easier.

Relax and Take Your Time

If you would like to challenge yourself and not use too many hints, then feel free to take your time as you try and decipher the words. Just relax and think a bit about what word comes to mind. Words for a Bird is a pretty calm game, so take advantage of that as you exercise your brain.

Think of it as if you're chilling with a good crossword puzzle. The only difference is that you're getting a little story told to you as you go. And then, of course, if you really do get stuck, there's comfort in knowing that you can hit that light bulb. It'll just give you small tips so it won't ruin your challenge overall. But, however you choose to play, just try and chill out and enjoy the experience.
